Allying vs
the tools.
Tools sold as AI employees, such as Lindy, 11x's Alice and Artisan's Ava, do the tasks you set them up to do, when you run them. Allying does the job you posted for 30% of the salary in your posting, a month, with a monthly minimum for each job, a named person who answers for it and the first week done before any conversation. Here is what the tools cost and when they are enough.

What the tools do well
They are cheap, they start today, and for one repeated task they are often enough: drafting replies, moving a form into a spreadsheet, booking a meeting, writing a first version. If you have an hour a week and a single task to hand off, a tool may be all you need. Some are aimed at one job: 11x and Artisan at outbound sales, Lindy and Zapier Agents at whatever you can describe in a sentence.
What they charge
Each figure below is from the company's own pricing page, read on 2026-09-17. Where a page publishes no number, we say so.
| Product | What their page says | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Lindy | Plus $29.99 a month per user with 3,000 credits; Pro $99.99 with 15,000; Max $199.99 with 35,000; Enterprise custom. Credits do not roll over. | [1] |
| 11x (Alice) | Growth starting at $3,750 a month, billed annually; the page's FAQ puts the year at $36,000. Up to 5 users and 2,000 new prospects a month. Pro and Enterprise custom. | [2] |
| Artisan | Credit-based tiers from startups to enterprise; no figure published on the page. Ask them. | [3] |
| Zapier Agents | Free: 400 activities a month. Pro: 1,500 activities a month, starting at about $33.33 a month on an annual plan. | [4] |

The price that is not on any of those pages is your time: setting the tool up, checking what it did, and fixing it when it does something odd in front of a customer. A tool has no one to call.
The five things a job is
The posting the roaster typed at 11:14 pm did not ask for a tool. It asked for five things.
- The tasksA tool does the tasks you set up, when you run it. Allying does the whole job on the posting, every week, without being run.
- The availabilityA tool is available when you open it. Allying is in your channels, with its own phone number, and answers when the question comes.
- The accountabilityA tool answers to nobody. Allying puts every action on the record, sends a daily note and a weekly report, and has a named specialist who answers for it.
- The judgmentA tool needs your judgment every time it meets an odd case. Allying brings a specialist’s standard and learns your preferences from every approval and edit.
- The reliefA tool adds a thing to manage. Allying takes the job off your plate.
What is different about Allying
You never see a tool. You see the job: a calendar that fills, emails that go out in your voice, replies that get answered, a report on Friday. Nothing reaches a customer without your yes until you say it no longer needs asking. And when something is strange, you do not get a ticket. You get a person who picks up.
When to choose which
Choose a tool when
- You have one task and the hour a week to run it.
- You enjoy setting things up and checking on them.
- The task never touches a customer.
- The budget is tens of dollars a month, not a salary.
Choose Allying when
- You posted a job, and you want the job done, not a thing to manage.
- The work reaches customers and someone has to answer for it.
- You want a person to call when something is off.
- You want to see the first week before you decide anything.
One company at a time
The same comparison, company by company, each with that company's own plans and terms.
